WESG APAC qualifiers are scheduled to start on September 19 (Please check the schedule of each country/region). As the registration process starts on September 08, we highly recommend that you to read the Game Rules & Agreement Terms carefully. Any participating player must accept these Rules in order to register and take part in WESG tournament, and also abide by these Rules after the registration process is completed in order to remain eligible to play in the regional final and grand final tournament and also receive prizes.

Players are required to submit their Passport Number to complete the registration process. Players who have won should be able to provide all necessary documents such as a travel passport scan, needed for VISA arrangements, flight and hotel bookings within the next 3 days after qualifier is finished.
By participating in the tournament, players agree to follow and respect tournament regulations as well as the referees’ decisions.
2. GAME CLIENT SETTINGS
2-1. Game version: Latest version of DOTA2
Players are allowed to use any new heroes and items if available.
2-2. All games will be played on Steam server.
2-3. Match format : 5vs5
2-4. Abusing BUG is strictly prohibited. Officials are authorized to ban Heroes or items that can cause BUGs to occur. If a hero or item is found to cause BUGs, it is automatically barred from usage.
2-5. Players and teams are required to allocate/choose official player and team names in the game client.
2-6. Lobby, password and other minor details shall be discussed/posted on the website via match info page.
2-7. All matches shall be played in the Local Server which will be decided by the organizers for each region.
3. GAME LOBBY SETTINGS
3-1. Lobby setings:
Game mode – Captains Mode.
Lobby visibility – Public.
Starting teams – Random.
No penalties.
Spectators – Enabled.
Dota TV delay – 5 minutes.
Pausing – unlimited.
Without cheats, bots, coaches, unassigned players.
3-2. Streamers are allowed only based on the referee’s permission.
4. WIN, LOSS AND ABNORMAL SITUATIONS
4-1. Total game duration - until the winner is declared.
4-2. The winning team will be whomever destroys enemies “Ancient” or forces the opponent to surrender.
4-3. The team has to surrender if 3 or more players have written “gg” in the chat (box) as the team cannot cancel this action.
5. PLAYER ETHICS
5-1. Players must not use any violence against any other players, staff and audience.
5-2. All unauthorized software used during the tournament except DOTA2 game client is forbidden until you agree its installation with tournament organizers.
5-3. Players must not use any ingame bugs intentionally to gain the advantage.
5-4. Players must not use other people’s Steam accounts and fake IDs to access Hearthstone during the tournament, only real IDs and own accounts are acceptable.
5-5. Players are not allowed to broadcast the games they are currently playing.
5-6. Players must not bet on any games of the tournament.
5-7. Players must immediately report tournament organizers in case they receive a match-fix offer and must not take part in any match-fix actions.
6. SERVER AND PLAYER CONNECTIVITY ISSUES
6-1. If any server connectivity issues occur, the tournament organizers reserve the right to adjust match schedule.
6-2. If a player deliberately disconnects without the referee’s consent or uses any method to force disconnection, the player will take a default loss.
6-3. If a player disconnects unintentionally, the game should be recovered via standart ingame feature, which is also subject to the referee’s decision.
6-4. If player experiences problems with the internet connection for more than 10 minutes, he may take a default loss unless referee makes another decision.
6-5. Players will not be able to watch the replay of a game once it has ended due to disconnection.
7. REGULATION CHANGES
7-1. WESG APAC reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the guidelines and regulations at any time if needed and to cancel any player’s participation in dire/extraordinary situations.
7-2. Tournament organizers and referees are allowed to make their own decisions which could go against the rules in extraordinary situations based on their own judgement.
7-3. Tournament organizers and referees are allowed to make their own decisions in situations which are not covered by current rules.

2. TEAM COMPOSITION AND SUBSTITUTION
2-1. A team may have up to 8 players from the same country, registered as team roster on official tournament site with a minimum number of 5 players. All players should represent as legal citizens of one country.
2-2. Each team must elect a captain. The captain cannot be substituted for the duration of the tournament. The captain will be the only official communication channel between the team and tournament organizers.
2-3. Only one person at a time can speak to the referee
2-4. Slot owners is the majority of players who have played and won in the last 3 official tournament matches on this team.
2-5. Substitutions after online-part and before lan-part is prohibited.
2-6. Players who have secured slot winning can be changed only after receiving an agreement from tournament referees.
3. GAME CLIENT SETTINGS

2-2. Match format : Classic competitive 5v5 settings

4. GAME SERVER SETTINGS
3-1. For the entire duration of this tournament, all games will be completed on official servers provided by the tournament organizer.
4-1. The tournament map pool consists of active duty mapgroup, which consists of the following:

4-2. Map pick / ban rule:
All map pick and ban procedures must be done on the server provided in the match-info of each player’s match.
The team who placed bottom in the bracket starts first.
For best of 1 matches, both teams ban maps until only 1 is left.
For best of 3 matches, both teams ban maps until 3 are left, where the first map will be chosen by the team who starts ban first. Meanwhile the second will be chosen by the opponent. The third map will be last and cannot be banned or picked.
Starting sides on each map will be determined by knife round.
5. TACTICAL PAUSE
5-1. Each team has a set of four 30 second tactical pause in each match. Captains may type “timeout” at the end of a round therefore pausing the match. The 30 second countdown will start once the match is paused.
5-2. There will be a 2 minutes break at half¬time after (15 rounds) as well as before overtime begins. There will also be a 1 minute break at overtime halftime.
5-3. A team may face disqualification from the match if their players pause for no reason or by using tactical pause during a match.
6. WIN, LOSS AND ABNORMAL SITUATIONS
6-1. The team is counted/declared the winner only after securing 16 rounds in the main time of the match.
6-2. If after 30 rounds of the main time both teams have 15 rounds, there will be overtime rounds, where winner will be first team who secures 4 rounds out of the 6 total rounds in one period. The amount of overtime is not limited and will last until a winner is determined.
6-3. Teams must report scores on site, particularly on the match-info page.
6-4. If 15 minutes post match has passed and both teams have failed to report scores on the site, the tournament referee can close the match which will result to a forfeit loss for both teams.
7. PLAYER ETHICS

8. TOURNAMENT ENFORCED RULES
8-1. Each player during match, starting from knife round must record POV-demo (“record POVNAME” - command in console)
8-2. All programs that somehow can affect or give an unfair advantage are prohibited.
8-3. Any player, if requested by the referee, must provide any needed information or POV-demo.
8-4. If the requirement above is not met, then the team can no longer compete and receives a technical loss.
8-5. Gambling and Match fixing shall be severely punished if found.
8-6. If a player is VAC Banned during the tournament, the entire team will be disqualified.
8-7. Any player who was banned by Valve or have VAC-ban on record is restricted to play in any qualification.
10. SERVER AND PLAYER CONNECTIVITY ISSUES
10-1. If any server connectivity issues occur, the tournament organizers reserve the right to adjust match schedule.
10-2. If a player deliberately disconnects without the referee’s consent or uses any method to force disconnection, the player will take a default loss.
10-3. If a player disconnects unintentionally, the game should be recovered via standart ingame feature, which is also subject to the referee’s decision.
10-4. If player experiences problems with the internet connection for more than 10 minutes, he may take a default loss unless referee makes another decision.

2-2. All games will be played on Battle.net Asia or Southeast Asia server
2-3. Match format & speed: melee 1v1, faster.
2-4. Players must turn off notifications and set their status to "busy" while in the game.
2-5. Players must turn off the option “receive messages only from friends”.
2-6. Players must turn on the “Automatically save replays” option.
2-7. Players must stay in the tournament game channel “WESG” during the competition.
3. TOURNAMENT MAP POOL
3-1. Tournament map pool consists of the following 1v1 ladder maps:

Frost
Frozen Temple

New Gettysburg
3-2. Players are allowed to veto from the map pool until there are enough maps for current matchup.
3-3. The player above indicated by brackets will starts vetoing and will also choose the starting map after vetoing process is completed.
3-4. The next maps for the series are set by loser pick, choosing from the remaining maps.
4. WIN, LOSS AND ABNORMAL SITUATIONS
4-1. Player shall be declared a winner once the opponent types “gg” or has had all of buildings destroyed.
4-2. The race which a player uses in the game must match the information provided and must be confirmed with referees before the match.
4-3. The game may end in a draw without stalemate detection under the following circumstances:
Both players agree on a draw OR
There is a natural stalemate in the game which should be confirmed by the referee OR
There is no possibility for each player to kill the opponent’s buildings
4-4. Game ended in a draw by automatic ingame stalemate detection may be either ended as a draw or as a win for any player upon the referee’s decision.
4-5. Game ended in a draw by referee’s decision or by players' agreement will be replayed on the same map until the winner is determined.
5. PLAYER ETHICS
5-1. Players must not use any violence against any other players, staff and audience.
5-2. Chat during the game should be restricted to expressions of sportsmanship (e.g. “gl”, “hf”, “gg”, “pp”) and other necessary communication.
5-3. The players are only allowed to pause any streamed game in case of urgent technical difficulties. For other importance concerns, they have to write “pp” to ask referee to pause the game.

Each player has to submit 4 decks which he will use in the tournament till the end of the registration. The list of all decks will be disclosed with all tournament participants 24 hours before the start of the tournament.

2. GAME SETTINGS
2-1. Game version: Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft latest version.
2-2. All games will be played on Battle.net asia server.
2-3. It is allowed for players to play on other servers, if they both agree.
2-4. Match format: Standard, Conquest B-o-5 without ban, B-o-7 from Semi-Finals
2-5. Players are not allowed to change their decks or classes during the online qualifiers. The list of all decks of each player will be uploaded to WESG APAC server and shared with every player 24 hours before the start of the tournament.
2-6. It is allowed to include any Karazhan card in the submitted decks.
2-7. Players should not leave the duel until the match is finished.
2-8. Players must turn off notifications and set their status to busy while in game.
2-9. Players must turn off option “Allow Friends to Spectate my Games”.
2-10 Players are not allowed to have any in-game spectators.
2-11 Players are allowed to stream their games, but with 15 minutes stream delay.
3. WIN, LOSS AND ABNORMAL SITUATIONS
3-1. Player in declared as a winner after his/her opponent's hero’s HP is less than 1.
3-2. If the player does not report the result of his/her recent game to the referee, it may be regarded as a forfeit.
3-3. The classes which player uses in game must be shared with the opponent before the match.
3-4. If both players’ heroes die on the same turn, the game should be replayed with the same decks.
